Hard Stop – Dick Chibbles & Tommy Pistol & Kenna James & Reagan Foxx & Seth Gamble & Codey Steele & Robby Apples & Nathan Bronson & Vince Karter & Lucky Fate & Anna Claire Clouds & Diego Perez & Theodora Day & Christian Wilde & Sarah Arabic & Little Puck

When Erin (Jane Wilde) discovers that her parent, Claire (Reagan Foxx), has been having a lurid affair with her boyfriend Darren (Lucky Fate), she decides that enough is enough. She convinces Claire to go to a rehab center called Hard Stop, which has a seven-day program designed to help patients who are afflicted by sex addiction. This is just the latest of many affairs Claire has had, but this one hit too close to home, so Erin is adamant about her decision. Regan can do nothing but bitterly accept it.

During her first few days at Hard Stop, Claire treats the whole thing like a joke, including the group therapy sessions she’s mandated to endure. This is where she meets the other women going through the same program: Vanessa (Sarah Arabic), Jasmine (Little Puck), Emily (Kenna James), and Olivia (Anna Claire Clouds). Under the professional eye of their therapist (Olivia Jay), the group is supposed to talk through their struggles together. Still, Claire thinks the entire thing is ridiculous, so she refuses to partake.

But as Claire listens to other women’s stories over the next few days, she begins to see them, and herself, in a new light. From Emily recounting how she cheated on her husband with two men she met online (Nathan Bronson and Vince Carter), to Vanessa sharing how she hooked up with one of her students (Diego Perez), the stories shed light on their speakers, humanizing them. Even the irreverent Jasmine shares her story, describing how she got fucked by four guys at a party (Christian Wilde, Tommy Pistol, Codey Steele, and Robby Apples). Emily also shares her shocking ordeal of getting intimate with a detective (Seth Gamble), who was investigating her for public indecency.

Needless to say, these women’s openness is moving for Claire, who finally works up the courage to share the inciting moment of her sex addiction. We flashback to a younger version of Claire (Theadora Day) who is seduced by her stepfather (Dick Chibbles), and consequently broke her other parent’s (Charlie Forde’s) heart. In a moment of pure vulnerability, she bares all and finally accepts who she is and what she must do.

At the end of the seven days, Claire is a changed woman. She knows there’s still much work to be done to change her ways, but she considers herself fortunate to have made some friends along the way. And she knows she’ll always be able to count on them should the time come.
